Christoph Attila Kun joined BASF SE Ludwigshafen in 2011 as a maintenance engineer. After various optimization projects in maintenance, he took over the development and management of the SAP Plant Maintenance Services unit in 2013. In 2018, he moved to the Digitalization unit, where he took over the management of the Global Digital Asset Master Data Management unit as Product Manager.
Christoph Attila Kun is Manager Digital Data Chain Consortium.
In addition to this activity, he is involved in standardization for and digitization of the process industry as head of the VDI Technical Committee 2770 Digital Manufacturer Information, as manager of the DIN SPEC Consortium 91406 Automatic Identification of Physical Objects, and as head of the working group Digital Platforms for Asset Management and Maintenance in the Process Industry.
The Pop in Your Job:
In my function as manager of the Digital Data Chain Consortium (DDCC) I collaborate with and learn from experts from more than 50 owner/operator, manufacturer and service provider and develop and shape together with them the digitalization of the Process Industry.
In my job as global product manager for the Digital Data Chain at BASF, I implement the developments of the DDCC at BASF globally. This gives me the opportunity to learn from the implementation and feed it back into the further development of the Digital Data Chain.
