Forogh Askari is AI Industry Expert at Canvass AI, a software provider that makes AI accessible to industrial engineers. In her role, Forogh enables and educates users on the benefits of using AI in industrial operations, thus bridging the divide between industrial process engineers, d ata science and machine learning. Prior to joining Canvass, she held similar roles at major industrial-focused technology companies where she worked with manufacturing and oil and gas companies to develop their digital transformation initiatives through process automation and data analytics.
The Pop in my Job:
I am driven by the idea of helping people and organizations see value in things they previously didn’t and enabling everyone to have access to tools and technology that help them to do that. Sustainability is extremely important to me. What drives me day to day is the ability to facilitate more people gaining access to functional tools that everyone can use to help increase their companies and industries sustainability, and in turn create a better, more sustainable world for everyone.
We’ve seen our customers make a real impact on their operations. There is exciting opportunity, and the technology is available for industrial companies to shift the needle in their sustainability efforts. Developing solutions for industrial companies to fast track this so 2030 targets can be achieved in 2025 has been paramount for me
