I got a degree in chemical engineering from the University Maribor (Slovenia) in 1995. Degree work was nominated as the best faculties’s work of the year (sponsored by Henkel) and dealt with Cinkarna’s problem in the field of titanium dioxide production (importance of seeds for calcination). In 1996 I started my first working position as a research engineer in Cinkarna Celje, afterwards became a senior research engineer. From 2020 I’m the head of Investments and technological improvements department for the titanium dioxide production plant. I have experiences in milling, digestion and leaching, cleaning methods (sedimentation, flocculation, filtration)… I am the project manager (from idea until implementation in the production) and also a part of mid-management in Cinkarna Celje.
