Norbert Pechler is a seasoned engineer and plant manager with a distinguished career in the chemical industry. He began his professional journey in June 1992 at Hoechst AG, Gersthofen site, as a plant engineer. In December 1995, he took on the role of Plant Manager at the PE-Wax Plant. Since August 2008, he has been serving as the Plant Manager of the Grinding Plant. With the transition of Hoechst AG to Clariant in 1997, Pechler continued his leadership within the company. Pechler holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Erlangen-Nürnberg, where he studied from November 1982 to December 1987 and graduated in May 1992. His thesis focused on waste gas treatment in the rayon industry. He has also actively participated in various optimization programs, including the Clariant Production System and Lean Sigma. Since 2017, he has been involved in project management for a significant investment project in China.
