After studying Chemical Engineering at the Universtiy of Dortmund Oliver Klein started in the Technical Management of Unilever´s Personal Wash business. After that he joined BASF SE as Technical Manager. During this period he was working for BASF´s Magnetic Recording, Styrenics and Cynid Value Chain Business. After that he took over the technical responsibility for BASF Phama Chemikalien GMBH & Co KG, the Active Ingredients Production of BASF at that time. Returning to BASF SE Oliver Klein was responsible to optimize the collaboration within the Technical Community in Ludwigshafen and finally as Director OPEX Systementwicklung & Communities for the collaboration between Technical & Production Commmunity Ludwigshafen within the BASF Production System. Since January 2019 he is supporting BASF´s Polyurethane business as Senior Specialist New Technology Launch.
